Pillar Bank is seeking full to part-time Universal Tellers to work primarily at the Chippewa Falls location. Position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service including efficient and accurate transaction processing. This will include taking deposits, withdrawals, and transfers for customers. Additionally, tellers may provide other services, such as prepaid cards, cashier’s checks, money orders, cashing bonds, etc. This position also provides assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of selling Pillar Bank products and services and advising customers of account and banking service options available including opening deposit accounts including checking, savings, business accounts, certificate of deposits and processes ATM/Debit card applications. Also refers customers to other bank departments as appropriate for additional services. Also responsible for ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations and laws including but not limited to, The Bank Secrecy Act. Understands compliance issues and attends training as it relates to the position.
Primary location is the Chippewa Falls location; however, work location and hours may vary by coverage need. Full-time positions will average 40 hours per week and part-time average a min of 20 – 24 hrs/week and must be able to work flexible hours. Position will rotate Saturday shifts with other incumbents.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 – 2 years previous teller and cash handling experience preferred. Experience with customer service required. Candidate must possess good communication skills, be able to stand for extended periods of time, and able to carry coin (or other materials) weighing up to 30 pounds to vault area. Salary: Competitive salary and benefits. Additional (differential pay) of $3.00 per hour for working Saturdays.

This position is responsible for developing, managing and growing a portfolio of residential mortgage, consumer and small business relationships. Responsible for identifying needs and providing assistance to current and prospective Bank customers for the purpose of recommending and selling Pillar Bank products and services and advising customers of lending and banking service options available. Responsible for analyzing risk, approving and coordinating the closing of major and complex consumer, real estate, equipment, and small business loans in accordance with established Bank policies. Prepares and presents loan and credit analysis to committees for use in the making of lending decisions on new, renewal and extension loans. Responsible for expanding and deepening existing customer relationships through referrals to other business. Participates in local organizations, clubs etc. to promote the Bank and to support the community.
Primary office location is Balsam Lake; however position will be required to spend a percentage of their time actively pursuing opportunities outside of the office and may require traveling between offices and to complete other business tasks.
Qualifications: Requires 4-year college degree in finance or business administration (or related area) and a minimum of 3 years of consumer and mortgage lending experience. Experience in residential mortgage/home equity credit risk management, loan underwriting and loan portfolio management required. Experience with commercial and commercial underwriting preferred. NMLS license required or ability to obtain.
